In order to foster the international exchange of knowledge and experience in the field of solar thermal and photovoltaic techniques and inform about the market situation in Germany as well as in Hamburg the SolarCentre Hamburg is pleased to host foreign guests, delegations or student groups. The state of the art, barriers and highlights, the legal framework as well as the existing founding schemes will be topics of speeches performed in the ELBCAMPUS, the home of the SolarCentre Hamburg. In addition an excursion to the Energy bunker in Hamburg-Wilhelmsburg will be organized if required. This former bunker from the second world war has been rebuilt to a seasonal heat storage (2.000.000 liters water) for solar energy produced by a 1.700 m2 large solar thermal collector field on top of the bunker as part of a solar district heating concept.
